Molly’s Journey at SMB and Beyond 💫
Molly was a valued member of our dance family here at SMB, taking part in numerous competitions where she consistently achieved fantastic results and always placed.
She was also a dedicated member of both Ignition and Fusion, both school dance companies, which gave her the opportunity to perform at various venues across the Northwest.
Molly furthered her training at The Lowry as part of their pre-vocational programme, graduating in 2023. Alongside this, she studied A-Level and GCSE Dance, achieving top grades in both.
Her talent and hard work led to incredible success during auditions, where she was offered places at Italia Conti, Trinity Laban, London Contemporary Dance School, Northern Contemporary, and London Studio Centre — where she ultimately began her BA (Hons) in Theatre Dance.
Now in her final year, Molly reflects:
“I’m now in my final year, having spent the past three years training with industry professionals, honing my craft in singing, dancing, and acting. I’ve grown not only as a performer but also as an individual, with opportunities to perform on professional stages, learn repertoire from West End shows such as Moulin Rouge, Cats, and Chicago, and build lifelong connections. None of this would have been possible without the teaching and support I received from SMB.”
